Parx Shippensburg is owned by Greenwood Racing Inc, which also owns Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. The Shippensburg casino is a smaller version of this large casino. Parx Shippensburg is getting a new manager, John Marshall. He has over 30 years of experience with gaming in other communities and will continue to improve operations at Parx Shippensburg.

Some that benefited from the recent donations were the Shippensburg Police Foundation, the Shippensburg area Chamber of Commerce, and West End Fire and Rescue. At Parx Shippensburg, there is the Liberty Bar & Grill. It’s a sports bar and upscale restaurant that’s family-friendly. The destination is a popular one for locals who visit it to watch sports on the 18 large TVs. They can order drinks like hand-crafted cocktails, craft beers, and wine. This is one of the best ways to relax after a busy week at work.
The whole family will enjoy the delicious wood-fired pizzas and other comfort foods served in the Liberty Bar & Grill. Some of these foods include fish and chips, spaghetti and meatballs, and French Onion soup. There purposefully isn’t any access directly from the casino floor, so people with kids can dine there, too. The access is from the entrance area.
Football specials are available on Sundays and other specials are available throughout the week. This includes burgers on Mondays, pizzas on Tuesdays, and pasta on Wednesdays all at special prices.
The Side Pocket
A new live entertainment venue, The Side Pocket, was opened in 2024. It features stand-up comedians on Friday nights and live local bands on Saturday nights. Pool tables are available at the venue from Monday through Thursday.
